Improve your English for FREE with our beginner level ESL program! We focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing to help you build confidence and fluency. This introductory course also gives you a chance to explore our full range of other offerings.

Levels
Beginner- Level 1
There are no exams or tests – learn at your own pace with the guidance and support of an instructor. At the end of the program, you can choose to take an assessment with your instructor to help decide the next level for you. Your instructor will ensure you're placed in the right level based on your needs and progress.
Admission Requirements:
- Applicants must be 19 years of age or older to register.
Delivery Method:
- Distance- This course is asynchronous. Join our conversation circles scheduled throught the week.

Textbook Fees:
- Course Book cost: Approximately $20 CAD
- Practice Book cost: Approximately $20 CAD
Course Book and Practice Book:
- Students are responsible for purchasing the course book and the workbook from a third-party vendor. Students are encouraged to purchase e-textbooks from Vital Source. E-textbooks are more affordable and arrive quickly via email. Students may choose to purchase hard copies from Amazon or from any other third-party vendor. Please note that hardcopies are more expensive and usually take longer to arriv

- Classes begin the first Wednesday of each month. Registration closes the Sunday before at 6 p.m.
